The Village of Buffalo Grove Emergency Management Agency plans for and mitigates against local disasters, through an integrated emergency management system. Members consist of staff from various Village departments and local volunteers. Within the Emergency Management Agency, there is a Mobile Support Team, which offers communications assistance to the Village and other local emergency management agencies, a Citizens Corps Council, and a Community Emergency Response Team.
