The Lake Cook Corridor Market Study and Plan was approved as a component and update to the Village 2009 Comprehensive Plan by the Board of Trustees on April 16th 2018. The project’s goal was to explore how the Village can best reposition the Corridor to optimize its growth potential. The Plan is a long-term framework to provide guidance over the next 15-20 years for the Corridor. It represents a culmination of over 18 months of work, community engagement, vision and consensus building and implements recommendations from the Village Board’s Strategic Plan as well as the Economic Development Strategic Plan.
With the plan approved, the focus now shifts towards plan implementation.
